There are changes happening from today Friday 30 May for Kangaroo Valley’s Hampden Bridge.
While a reduced load limit from 42-point-five to 23 tonnes has been delayed until 27 June 2025, a 10kph speed limits comes into force from today and traffic control will be in place during busy periods.
Transport for NSW says the transition period is being introduced during June to allow heavy vehicle operators more time to make alternate arrangements while ensuring the safety of motorists and structural integrity of the bridge.
