A teenage boy has died following a single-vehicle crash on the South Coast.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Woodstock Road and Kyeena Drive, Woodstock, about 6.45am on Sunday 14 July 2024, following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to South Coast Police District attended the scene and found a vehicle had struck a power pole.
Early enquiries have revealed the vehicle was reported stolen from an address in Sussex Inlet about 12.30am on Sunday 14 July 2024.
The driver, a teen boy, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics but was unable to be revived.
A male teenage passenger was also treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being airlifted to Sydney Children’s Hospital at Randwick in a critical condition.
Police have been told two passengers left the scene before their arrival. A search is being coordinated for the missing passengers of the vehicle.
A crime scene was established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash has commenced.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
