Doctor Speaks Up on PPP
Since the State Government announced it wouldn't be proceeding with a public private partnership at Bowral Hospital a number of people have come out of the woodwork to complain about the move.
That includes Dr. Peter Macken who's chair of the Medical Staff Council at the facility.
Dr. Macken has written to the Southern Highlands News saying current funding on the table is inadequate and believes there should've been more sensible discussion between the private hospital next door and Bowral Hospital.
Member for Wollondilly Jai Rowell says it's unfortunate these people didn't speak up before.
Meanwhile Edna Carmichael from Public Health First says they tried engaging with the South West Sydney Local Health District to speak with Doctors.
