wingecaribee council

Wingecarribee Councillors have agreed to invite leading scientist Dr. Ian Wright to speak in the chamber about the effects of pollution on the Wingecarribee River, allegedly caused by Boral's Medway mine.

Councillors have also agreed to invite a representative from Boral to attend and also speak at the presentation.

The talks are scheduled to take place from 2:30pm before the next council meeting on September 27.

Councillors will have the opportunity to ask one question of each speaker, however there'll be no questions allowed from the public.
