Senseless vandals attacking our local parks & gardens

Wingecarribee Council's Parks and Open Gardens Department is fed up with the amount of vandalism occurring in the shire.

Staff are continually being called to Corbett Gardens in Bowral to clean the toilets, repair broken pickets, replace broken lights and pavers and remove graffiti.

Leighton Gardens in Moss Vale has also become a problem with thousands of dollars of damage caused to the park's pop up irrigation system.

The vandalism means staff have to stop working on other important projects in the shire.

In some instances they've been abused, while cleaning up the mess.

Anyone who has any information is being asked to contact the Police Assistance Line on 131444 or Wingecarribee Council on on 4868 0888.
