Hume Coal has made no financial investment in Berrima Deviation Project

Hume Coal says claims on social media that they have made a financial contribution towards the Berrima Deviation Project are completely and utterly false.

The project involves building 600 metres of new road, including a new roundabout for B Triples at the intersection of Berrima Road and Taylor Avenue at New Berrima.

The existing rail level crossing will also be replaced with a rail overbridge.

However Spokesperson Ben Fitzsimmons says they haven't ruled out infrastructure partnerships in the future if the Hume Coal proposal is approved.

Wingecarribee Council has indicated all along that it doesn't support the project.
