Bowral High School will be holding its first stem Day on Tuesday August 14 which will enable local primary school students the opportunity to learn more about science, engineering and maths.
A number of demonstrations will be taking place including designing and launching water powered rockets, 3d printing and virtual reality experience to name a few.
Bowral High School was one of 365 schools awarded a National Science Week Schools grant in 2018.
Science Teacher Andrew Hawker says stem subjects are becoming more important and it's hoped the event will encourage more young people to take up a career in science.
