Free catering for drought affected farmers

The Bong Bong Race Club will be doing their bit for drought stricken farmers at its annual race meet in November by providing a catering tent.

The club has asked other picnic race clubs throughout NSW to nominate deserving people in severely affected areas and in return the club will host them for the day.

This will include 60 people from far out west and 30 locals who've been badly affected.

Club Manager Peter Hales says they'll be treated to a nice day free of charge.
