Road safety campaign in the Wingecarribee

Wingecarribee Council is teaming up again with the Little Blue Dinosaur Foundation to raise awareness about the importance of pedestrian road safety.

The foundation was set up by David and Michelle McLaughlin who lost their son Tom in a tragic road accident during a family holiday.

The pair work with councils across Australia to ensure community safety during peak holiday periods.

Ms. McLaughlin says it's essential parents hold their child's hand up until the age of 10.

The program will also involve signage being erected at popular locations across the shire
