The Salvation Army in Bowral have had a tremendous response from the public regarding illegal dumping over the Christmas/New Year period.
It comes after the organisation got rid of the warehouse on Kirkham Road and decided to close the extra gates on Bong Bong Street.
In previous years they've been inundated with items, which have taken three or four days to clean up.
Officer in Charge Jake Horton is thanking the community for their support and believes the message is starting to get through.
At this stage it's not known whether people have dumped their items elsewhere.
