Work will be carried out between 7am and 5pm, weather permitting and will include widening the road shoulder, installing guardrail and road resurfacing.
A reduced speed limit of 40 kilometres per hour will be in place.
The second part will see lane closures near Mount Murray Road and will start on January 30 and finish on February 15.
