Nine protestors have been arrested at the Southern Meats Abbatoir in Goulburn.
Around 2:30 this morning the group chained themselves to a conveyor.
When the owner asked them to leave, and they refused, Police were called.
Officers cut the protestors free and they were arrested.
Three women refused to walk from the abattoir and had to be carried to a Police vehicle.
Three men, one aged 46 and two aged 22, and six women, aged between 21 and 61 were taken to Goulburn Police Station where they'll be charged.
Inquiries are continuing.
