A large retirement resort has been given the go ahead to be built on the site of the former Our Lady of the Sacred Heart School in Bowral.
A Joint Regional Planning Panel has given the green light to 135 luxury villas along with an extensive range of facilities including wellness and business centres, restaurant and library.
A number of conditions have been included such as retaining the priest cottage and the construction of shared pathways and pedestrian islands.
It will be known as Waterbrook Bowral and managing director Kevin Ryan says it's very Bowral-centric and they'll be working closely with the council before construction starts.
