A large poultry farm being proposed at Pheasants Nest is attracting plenty of strong debate amongst locals.
The proposal to house 315,000 chickens on a16 hectare property on Mockingbird Road, is currently before the Wollondilly Local Planning Panel.
The majority of Wollondilly Councillors want the project approved, but a number of nearby residents are concerned about increased truck movements and the smell.
Councillor Simon Landow says he supports poultry farms in the area.
The Planning Panel's final decision will be made available on council's website, next Wednesday.
