Wingecarribee Councillors have unanimously agreed to issue their colleague Councillor Ian Scandrett with a Notice of Entry, so that staff can inspect earthworks carried out on his property at Werai.

Council heard last night that Councillor Scandrett had ignored up to five requests for access.

Councillors also unanimously agreed to knock back a proposed shed on the same property, because its 14 per cent larger than what the development control plan allows for.

It comes after the DA was sent to Goulburn Mulwaree Council for a peer review.

Mayor Duncan Gair says it's a shame its had to come to this, but insists the same rules that apply to the community must also apply to elected representatives.
