Union not happy with employment agreements

Appin NSW Colliery Entrance

The CFMMEU is describing a decision by the PIMS Group to backflip on an employment agreement with workers at the Appin Colliery as another race to the bottom.

The Union claims PIMS has agreed to outsource its employees from WorkPac, leaving the future contract mine workers employment covered under a different enterprise agreement.

Southern District Vice President Bob Timbs says it's not acceptable

He's warning members not to sign any employment agreements with the PIMS Group and is asking them to call their office if they're unsure.
