It's every persons worst nightmare.
A family of four was travelling in their car along the Hume Highway at Mittagong on Sunday, when mum looked down at her feet and discovered a small Tiger snake.
Without trying to panic too much her husband who was driving, stopped in the breakdown lane and called Police.
Richard Woodman from Wildlife Rescue South Coast was eventually tasked with removing the snake.
He drove the vehicle to a nearby shopping centre, where he managed to get it out.
Woody says there's an interesting story about how the snake got in the car in the first place.
Apparently a couple of the passengers are collectors of bleached animal skulls, and one of the skulls was in the vehicle at the time.
It's believed the snake was hiding inside the brain cavity.
The whole ordeal took Woody more than five hours to sort out.
