Our local wine producers will be able to get their grapes tested for any of the effects of smoke caused by the recent bushfires, thanks to a State Government funding announcement.
The fires have affected the composition of grapes and the wines produced.
NSW Wine Industry Association President Mark Bourne who owns Cuttaway Hill Wines at Exeter says every bit of assistance helps.
The funding will cover a number of bulk sample analyses per business to a cap of $1,200 and is available for all impacted wine grape growers across NSW.
