Highlands Police will be issuing a couple of warning letters to people who've been seen out in the local community when they've been told to self isolate because of the Corona Virus.
Policehave new powers in place and can issue fines.
People who failed to comply with the new laws could face up to six months in prison and a fine of up to $11,000.
However Chief Inspector John Klepczarek says the last thing he wants to do is issue fines.
He's asking people to use some common sense and do the right thing.
