The Queue outside Bowral Centrelink has started to build.
It comes after the State Government issued a crackdown on social gatherings which has forced the closure of the region's pubs, clubs, gyms and cinemas from midday today.
It means a number of people are now out of work.
However supermarkets, petrol stations and pharmacies are among the businesses which will remain open.
The Government has put in place a number of measures for these people that are out of work.
Those who've lost their job, or who have had their hours drastically reduced will be eligible for an extra 550-dollars in benefits.
Meantime people in financial distress will be able to access 10-thousand-dollars from their superannuation this financial year, tax free.
And an additional 750-dollar payment will be made available to people on social security and veterans pensions from July.
