Commuters are being urged to use transport apps indicating when trains and buses are reaching their social distancing capacity.
Overcrowding has been experienced on the T-8 Southern line.
A special squad of staff is monitoring 11 thousand security cameras and relaying information back to station platforms so passengers can be directed away from busy services.
Transport Minister Andrew Constance says the information is then fed into apps to give commuters an indication of where there's overcrowding.
