Three new courses are now available at the Tafe NSW Moss Vale campus to support future jobs in the Highlands’ booming equine and boutique agriculture industry.
It follows talks with the Southern Highlands Key Stakeholders group which includes representatives from Wingecarribee Council, Southern Highlands Food and Wine Association and Destination Southern Highlands,
As of 2018-19 the value of agriculture production in the Highlands was $155 million.
Food and Wine Association president Renee Wallace is welcoming the new courses and says training the next generation of agricultural and equine industry workers is a critical part of the region’s growth strategy.
