Federal Member for Hume Angus Taylor says extending Jobkeeper and Jobseeker benefits is all about getting the balance right.
The 15-hundred-dollar Job Keeper wage subsidy will be reduced by 300-dollars from October.
Meantime the jobseeker payment will also be lowered to about 800-dollars a fortnight.
Mr. Taylor admits there has to be incentives for people to get back to work.
However Member for Whitlam Stephen Jones says there's no guarantee the Government won't have to look at further extensions in the future.
He's concerned about a December cut off date being flagged for job seeker.
