40 nest boxes have been installed at various parks and reserves across the Wollondilly shire with the aim of helping wildlife recover from the bushfires earlier in the year.

The nest boxes were made from recycled timbers and installed by a qualified arborist.

They're situated in Lyn Gordon Reserve at Thirlmere, Bargo Sportsground, Thirlmere Sportsground, Scotcheys Reserve at Silverdale, Picton Botanical Gardens and Willis Park at The Oaks.
