A woman is facing a number of drug charges after an arrest at Mittagong early Monday morning.

Around 3-oclock Hume Police attended a service station on the Old Hume Highway and spoke to two women, who were parked in a white Holden Commodore.

The vehicle and two women were searched and it's alleged almost 15 grams of methylamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were found concealed within a handbag and purse.

The passenger, a 22-year-old woman, was arrested and taken to Southern Highlands Police Station, where she was charged.

She has been granted conditional bail ahead of an appearance in Moss Vale Court next month.
