A warning once again from Highlands Police about a number of scams doing the rounds.
Some of the typical ones this year have related to COVID19, the bushfires, people impersonating Government employees and puppies for sale.
Acting Inspector Matt McCarthy is encouraging people to report any incidents to the Police Assistance Line on on 131 444.
However he says unfortunately many people may feel embarrassed when they get scammed and don't pass the information on.
