Good news for Southern Highlands rail commuters who drive to Campbelltown to catch a train into Sydney.
The recently announced Federal budget has allocated $22.1 million dollars for an extra 500 car spaces at Campbelltown Train Station.
That's in addition to the $15 million dollars already made available for Macarthur.
Federal Member for Hume Angus Taylor says it's fantastic news for locals, benefiting commuters from Camden, Narellan, Wollondilly and right through to the Southern Highlands.
He reckons It will mean fewer vehicles on the road and reduced travel times for people travelling by rail.
