Inquiries are continuing after police uncovered a hydroponic cannabis crop worth $13 million on a property in Bargo.

Officers from Camden Police Area Command investigating the cultivation of cannabis executed a search warrant at a property on Remembrance Drive about 4.30pm on Monday.

A police guard was posted on the property overnight before officers returned to the scene yesterday and seized 4324 cannabis plants.

They ranged in size from seedlings to mature plants and were being cultivated in 16 large greenhouses and work-site offices; police also seized two shotguns.

There was no one at the property when police arrived and inquiries are continuing to identify those responsible.
