A group of nine campers who got stuck out at the Wollondilly River Station near Bullio have been brought back to safety.
The group drove out to the location on Friday afternoon.
They lost a number of items in the floodwater, but were able to save their camping equipment and call for help.
SES crews from Mittagong, Goulburn and Crookwell were halted by floodwater and landslides.
Grant McClory from the South East Zone says they tried three or four times to get a helicopter in there, but were unsuccessful because of the low cloud.
The campers were finally rescued this morning and flown to the Mittagong Airfield.
They were all in good spirits.
Mr. McClory is asking people to check on the weather patterns before they head out camping.
