A number of residents in the old silver mining town of Yerranderie, west of Picton are still cut off from the recent floods.
A team of volunteers from the Rapid Relief Team prepared a number of food boxes which were dropped in by a Rural Fire Service helicopter.
Heavy machinery will be required to gain access to the town and it's still not known how long this will take.
Ben Noble from Rapid Relief says support may need to continue well into the foreseeable future.
