A Moss Vale High School student has been recognised for his work with suicide prevention.
Jeremy Millward, who's in year 11, received the Young Conversation Champion Award at the 2021 Barbara Hocking Memorial Awards.
He organised an R U OK Week at his school which included a ‘Wear it Yellow Day’, a conversation walk and school lesson activities about how to have an R U OK conversation.
Jeremy accepted the Award over Zoom in a COVID 19 safe ceremony.
He says it's nothing to be ashamed of if you're not feeling well.
