Thank a first responder day

thank a first responder day

With today being ' Thank a First Responder Day ', we're being encouraged to show our appreciation for the men and women in our Emergency Services who dedicate every day to helping save others.

You can give them a wave or pop into their headquarters to say thankyou.

Fire and Rescue NSW Southern Highlands Duty Commander Bruce Dowling said first responders are often faced with traumatic situations.

'' We are trained to deal with that and have many resources to help us cope with those situations, but often we don't know what we're responding to until we arrive ''.
