Two people have been charged with more than 70 alleged drug offences after Police raided two homes in Moss Vale.
Back in April, Strike Force Luccarda was set up to investigate the supply of ' ice ' in the Southern Highlands.
Just before 7 yesterday morning, Police executed a search warrant on a home in Moss Vale where they uncovered methylamphetamine, cannabis, cash, electronic scales, a mobile phone and an extendable baton.
Shortly after, a second search warrant was executed at another home in Moss Vale, where Officers found cannabis, a mobile phone and other electronic devices.
Two men – aged 36 and 55 – were arrested and taken to Southern Highlands Police Station.
The 36-year-old man was charged with 60 offences, including:
- 55 counts of supply prohibited drug,
- ongoing supply of prohibited drug,
- conduct drug premises,
- possess prohibited drug,
- deal with proceeds of crime, and
- possess prohibited weapon.
And the 55 year old was charged with:
10 counts of supply prohibited drug and possess prohibited drug.
Both men were refused bail and appeared in Picton Local Court yesterday, where they were formally refused bail to appear in Moss Vale Local Court on Wednesday September 8 2021.
Further arrests are expected.
