New data from Tourism Research Australia's National and international visitor survey is revealing the Shoalhaven is now the most popular tourism destination in New South Wales outside of Sydney.
We've even beaten holiday hotspots like Byron Bay on the North Coast and Manly.
Last year, more than 3.3 million people visited the region which is a year on year increase of about 19 per cent.
The increase in numbers are believed to be as a result of Shoalhaven Tourism's marketing efforts and various other campaigns promoting our lifestyle.
