Shoalhaven City Council will put the draft 2017/18 budget and fees on public exhibition this Friday for the community to view.
Capital expenditure of $54 million has been allocated, which includes $9.6 Million for the Shoalhaven indoor sports stadium, $6.3 million for waste management and a total of $9.5 million towards roads and maintenance.
A number of large projects are funded by Government Grants including:
Local Road Repair (Roads to Recovery) $1,315,819
Fire Stations (unallocated) $600,000
Regional Road Repair Program $330,000
Pedestrian Infrastructure Around Schools $270,000
Shoalhaven Mayor Amanda Findley is encouraging ratepayers to view the documents for themselves on councils website or in person at council offices.
The Community will have an opportunity to make submissions to Council as part of the consultation period during the month of May 2017.
