NSW state budget will see $10 Million invested into the Bay and Basin area

nsw budget

South Coast MP Shelley Hancock says the Bay and Basin area will benefit with more than $10 Million going towards infrastructure projects.

Included will be $1.5 Million for the Round the Bay Walk at Huskisson including construction of the Moona Moona Creek pedestrian bridge and more than $5 Million going towards the construction of a new ambulance station.

Ms Hancock says it means many of these important projects will be completed quickly.

"I was listening in particular to what Council was saying about Moona Moona Creek, they couldn't see a way forward to this occurring any time soon," Ms Hancock said.

"Perhaps it might have been three years, or it might not have been 3 years, it may have been longer, so that's why I want to go to the Minister for Transport and say these are important projects", She said.
