The Shoalhaven Climate Action Group will be holding a special forum later this month on how to move towards a Zero Carbon Shoalhaven.

The meeting is being supported by Shoalhaven City Council with a range of speakers to be on hand from Council's Sustainability Committee and other community groups.

Bonnie Cassen from the Shoalhaven Climate Action Group says everyone can make a difference.

"Whether it's taking shorter trips, composting and making less rubbish, to driving community power projects", Ms Cassen said.

"We will also have Repower Shoalhaven at the forum and further down the coast, we've got Bega Council who had a group at Tathra that came together and created a community solar energy farm", she said.

The meeting takes place on Thursday the 28th of September at the Bomaderry Bowling Club.
