Crews from the Shoalhaven Rural Fire Service are suspicious of a fire that started in the Jervis Bay Territory Early this morning saying it may have been deliberately lit.
Crews are currently working to contain the blaze at Wreck Bay in the vicinity of Village Bay Road.
There is no threat to any property, District Manager with Shoalhaven RFS Mark Willaims says air support will also be called in.
"At this point in time the only area of threat that we have would be a repeater tower, we've got defence and fire authorities going in there to protect that and obviously working around the Wreck Bay Community itself", Mr Williams said.
Wreck Bay Road and Villiage is currently closed with access only permitted for residents and emergency services.
