Naval officer faces charges over inappropriate conduct

A Royal Australian Naval Officer is facing a number of charges related to inappropriate conduct around women at HMAS Albatross.

Warrant Officer Ian Duncan Harrison is facing 11 charges and 4 alternative charges related to alleged incidents involving five women at HMAS Creswell at Jervis Bay.

The South Coast Register reports Harrison at the time was the ships Warrant Officer and the incidents are alleged to involve touching a woman inappropriately, showing pictures of provocative material and showing a video of himself performing a sex act.

A number of witnesses will continue to give evidence over coming days.
