A league referee Kris Griffith-Jones oversaw a fast paced entertaining game of football last night at Ison Park Nowra.
The round 6 FFA Cup match saw National Premier Team Spirit FC take on Shoalhaven District Football Association 2017 champions Bomaderry.
For the local team, the fitness, pace, professionalism and positional play of Spirit FC was too much going down 4 nil.
The scoring opened early with some clumsy Bomaderry defence seeing Spirit awarded a penalty which saw Spirit go-ahead 1 nil.
35 minutes in, Spirits constant pressure paid off with a second goal.
The second half saw Bomaderry settle into the rhythm of the game and it took Spirit another 40 minutes to score their third goal and final goal.
The 3-nil result sees Bomaderry now eliminated from the FFA Cup.
