The new Shoalhaven Neighbourhood Service Centre has been officially opened in Nowra.
The State Government provided them with a $50,000 grant to relocate from Kinghorne Street to Worrigee Street.
The move will allow the organisation to expand it's services with new meeting rooms, a community kitchen and drop in spaces.
South Coast MP Shelley Hancock says the Centre is a vital community asset.
"Sometimes it takes a long time and I think there was not necessarily positivity about the possibility of moving", Ms. Hancock said.
"But I spoke to the Councillors and they're really on board with this and it's a win-win because now that other premises is being used as the homeless shelter so its just being great for the community", she said.
A further $33,000 has also been secured to carry out additional fit-outs.
