IMG 1896 1

The cleanup operation is continuing at the Nowra Speedway Complex after wreckless vandals forced their way into the facility earlier this week, causing more than $50,000 worth of damage.

The damage to vehicles and equipment has put in jeopardy the next event coming up on the 19th of January.

Local businesses have been chipping in, with Solomon Motor Group pledging $500.

Wayne Dunn from Dunn and Williams electrical and air-conditioning has also pledged $500, he's calling on other local businesses to chip in as well.

"I know this towns a very big motor racing area, I've seen that at some meetings, I believe that some other businesses out there might be able to help them out a bit as well", Mr Williams said.

Donations can be made directly to the clubs bank account.
