Around 100 surfers hit the water at Kiama Harbour on Saturday to protest against exploratory oil drilling in the Great Australian Bight.
Fight for the Bight campaigners are concerned about the environmental impact drilling will have on our ocean and coastline.
The Kiama protest is the latest in a series of events nationwide.
Protesters held a ring formation minute's silence to honour the ocean and its damaged species.
A similar paddle-out was held at Mollymook the week before and South Coast Boardrider, Chris Homer says another one could be planned in the immediate future.
