The amount of money being lost to scams is increasing from year to year and we're being urged to brush up on our scam spotting skills.

The A-Triple-C is challenging us to test our knowledge after people across the country lost almost half a billion dollars last year.

A-Triple-C Deputy Chairwoman Delia Rickard says this year's theme is 'too smart to be scammed': "The A-triple-C and its 100-plus partner organisations are really concerned that scams are getting more sophisticated, we are losing more and more to scammers and yet many people think 'it won't happen to me, I'm too smart to be scammed ' so we're inviting them to engage with a whole range of interactive tools and videos on our website. Really test their scam knowledge."
