Yesterday Bomaderry paramedics Garry and Irwin found themselves rescuing a kitten from a tree at Berry Mountain.
Six-month-old Tinker – who had only been in her new home for two weeks – found herself stuck in a tree approximately nine metres off the ground.
Rescue paramedic Garry managed to reach Tinker, and using a carefully anchored tarp, lowered her to safety.
Tinker’s owners were grateful for the efforts of paramedics, who say it was the purrfect start to a chilly winter’s day.
