The Orange Army has been out in force as damaging winds continue to lash the region.
The SES has responded to 40 calls for assistance across the Illawarra, South Coast and Highlands overnight.
Crews worked with Fire and Rescue NSW to secure a wind damaged building adjacent to the railway lines at Scarborough.
Yesterday, volunteers attended to 59 call outs across the Illawarra, South Coast and Southern Highlands.
Gusts in excess of 90 km/h are expected again today before easing this evening.
We've already had some strong gusts this morning with 80kmph recorded at Moss vale and 70k's at Kiama.
