A man has been charged with failing to comply with Police directions near the firegrounds west of Milton.
Just after 10 o'clock on Saturday night, the man was driving his Toyota Landcruiser south along Woodburn Road, towards a closed off road which was being manned by council employees and Police Officers.
It's alleged he continued driving towards the road closure and nearly collided with two council employees.
The man then allegedly braked heavily and continued to drive forwards slowly, forcing one of the council workers to take several steps backwards to avoid being hit.
Police say he also refused to provide them with his licence and refused to leave his vehicle.
One of the Officers received minor grazes as a result of the arrest.
The man has been charged with not obey direction of police/authorised person, disobey road closure sign and resist police officer in execution of duty.
He's been granted conditional bail and is due to face Milton Local Court on January 16.
