Wildlife trail cameras stolen off Turpentine Road

Wildlife Station volunteers at St. Georges Basin have been left shaking their heads after two trail cameras set up in the bush near Turpentine Road were stolen.

The cameras were being used to monitor the movements of wildlife ever since the bushfires ripped through the area.

The information is then sent into a National data base to help with conservation efforts.

Volunteer Les Boucher says they're of no use to anyone else.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact Nowra Police on 4421 9699.
