South Coast Police foil attempted armed robbery


South Coast Police have busted an alleged robber mid-hold up at Sussex Inlet.

Some officers were on patrol yesterday afternoon when they noticed a man walk into a pharmacy and close the door behind him.

They followed and claim an armed robbery was taking place with several people inside the premises.

Police seized a replica pistol and arrested a 25-year-old man.

He has been charged with robbery while armed with dangerous weapon.

The alleged offender has spent the night in the lock up ahead of a Court appearance in Nowra today.
