The community campaign to stop a housing development at Manyana has gone to Sydney today.
Residents of Manyana have been protesting plans by Ozy Homes to clear 20 hectares of unburnt mature growth forest to make way for nearly 180 housing lots.
It's the only bush in the area saved from the Currowan flames.
The campaign gained support from Australian actor Claudia Karvan in an online post yesterday.
And community members were out in force as the developer put up fences around the development site.
Activists have returned today.. amid allegations the conditions of the DA have already been breached.
And placards protesting the work have this morning been placed outside the Bankstown headquarters of Ozy homes.
